Los Angeles Cactus and Succulent Society Hosts May Sale 

Los Angeles, CA - [5/17-5/18] – The Los Angeles Cactus and Succulent Society (LACSS) is proud to announce its highly anticipated May Sale, which will be held on May 17th and 18th, 2024 at the Tarzana Community and Cultural Center. This festival brings together plant enthusiasts to celebrate the beauty and resilience of the many unique species of cacti and succulents. 

The festivities kick off on Friday, May 17th with a Twilight Sale from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, offering attendees the opportunity to explore a wide selection of cacti, succulents, pottery, top dressings and more.  There will be a $10.00 entrance fee.

For enthusiasts seeking rare and unique specimens, an exclusive Live Auction will be held on Friday evening, starting at 8:00 PM. This event will feature 15 exceptional plants, curated to appeal to seasoned collectors and novice gardeners alike. 

The excitement continues on Saturday, May 18th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Attendees can browse through a diverse array of 20+ vendors , offering a variety of plants, pottery, and gardening supplies. Saturday is free.

Throughout the day on Saturday, guests can participate in a silent auction with 10-15 plants up for bid. Additionally, a second live auction will take place, offering another opportunity to acquire prized specimens for personal collections or garden landscapes.

There will be a Kids' Day Program on Saturday 10 am to 2 pm.  There will be swag bags, educational displays, and a free succulent for all kids attending.
