Observations from the central Andes in Peru, Bolivia and Argentina
Stefan Campbell is an Australian naturalist and environmental consultant living in Chile. He has an academic background in Applied Sciences and developed a fascination for cacti and other exotic plants from a young age. Stefan now facilitates habitat tours in South America, works in conservation and independently researches cacti and desert ecology.
The Northern and Central Andes hi lights include exotic species from the northern range in Colombia and Venezuela such as Melocactus, Mammillaria, Echeveria, Tillandsia and Espeletia. Observations from the central Andes in Peru, Bolivia and Argentina include firsthand accounts of Azorella, Trichocereus, Aylosteria, Parodia and Yavia.
